i'm sorry to sound harsh, but i am twelve years old and i think that these just sound childish. i really would appreciate some SCARY story startes...
Rach, you are right. These likely were meant for children, likely 7 and 8 year olds. You should take one of these and MAKE it SCARY.

These are just starters, you guys. You are supposed to add the scary elements. I am getting some good ones in my middle school classes using similar prompts.

I am going on 12 and I agree. Even if they are just starters-they should give you a SCARY-er starter than this.
